Movement Part 2
Welcome to Dispatch Education!! Bethany and Lisa here. Today we are continuing to move! Last time we gave you some simple stretches and movements.
How do you incorporate movement into your day?
1. It is not difficult.
2. You don’t have a have a bunch of fancy equipment.
3. Use the chairs and consoles that you already have.
4. Take a break from sitting every 30 minutes
5. Stand for 10 minute intervals
6. Every time you sit and then stand and then sit back down you are doing a squat!!
We have given you some great examples of how to move, like Twinkle Toes, the Toe Touch Challenge and the Mover and Shaker. Today I want to share another one that we love. It is called Last Dispatcher Standing. This is a fun, easy and competitive thing that you can try at your center. Basically, everyone stands. Last one standing wins.
